Comments: UK 'Loco-A-Go-Go' tour. Support from The Dickies. Stan from The Dickies joined The Damned on stage to play 'Love Song' and 'New Rose'.

Thursday 13 December 2012 - O2 Academy, Birmingham

Set: Under The Wheels, Noise Noise Noise, Rabid (Over You), Danger To Yourself, Neat Neat Neat, Grimly Fiendish, Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde, Antipope, Democracy, Stranger On The Town, Love Song, She, White Rabbit, New Rose, Ignite, There Ain't No Sanity Clause. encore - Lovely Money, Looking At You, Smash It Up.

Comments: UK 'Loco-A-Go-Go' tour. Support from The Dickies. Long time Damned fan Johnno joined the band on stage for 'Smash It Up' (Captain Sensible- "It's usually the time of the evening when we invite the Damned's longest serving fan up on stage", "Dave Vanian - "Is the queen coming?", " Captain - "the queen, yes... your royal majesty would you please come to the stage... uhh, in the absence of her majesty, is Johnno in the house?", lol). Additionally 5 ladies from the audience were also invited on stage... one belting out the opening line of 'Smash It Up'.

Tuesday 11 December 2012 - O2 Academy, Oxford

Set: Under The Wheels, Noise Noise Noise, Rabid (Over You), Danger To Yourself, Neat Neat Neat, Grimly Fiendish, Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde, Love Song, Democracy, Stranger On The Town, Antipope, She, White Rabbit, New Rose, Turkey Song, Ignite, There Ain't No Sanity Clause. encore - Lovely Money, Looking At You, Smash It Up.

Comments: UK 'Loco-A-Go-Go' tour. Support from The Dickies. The rendition of 'Turkey Song' was again only a single verse and followed some guitar tuning by Captain Sensible, whilst other members of the band performed a short musical (cough) improvisation. A false start to 'Ignite' followed, more guitar tuning, then a restart of the track. Long time Damned fan Johnno (celebrating his 68th birthday this day), joined the band on stage for 'Smash It Up'.

Sunday 9 December 2012 - HMV Picture House, Edinburgh

Set: Under The Wheels, Noise Noise Noise, Rabid (Over You), Danger To Yourself, Neat Neat Neat, Grimly Fiendish, Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde, Love Song, Democracy, Stranger On The Town, Antipope, She, White Rabbit, New Rose, Ignite, There Ain't No Sanity Clause. encore - Lovely Money, Looking At You, Smash It Up, Turkey Song.

Comments: UK 'Loco-A-Go-Go' tour. Support from The Dickies. The rendition of 'Turkey Song' was again only a single verse.

Saturday 8 December 2012 - HMV Ritz, Manchester

Set: Under The Wheels, Noise Noise Noise, Rabid (Over You), Danger To Yourself, Neat Neat Neat, Grimly Fiendish, Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde, Love Song, Democracy, Stranger On The Town, Antipope, She, White Rabbit, New Rose, Ignite, There Ain't No Sanity Clause. encore - Lovely Money, Looking At You, Smash It Up.

Comments: UK 'Loco-A-Go-Go' tour. Support from The Dickies. A short, whimsical, playing of 'Wot' preceded 'Smash It Up'.

Thursday 6 December 2012 - O2 Academy, Newcastle

Set: Under The Wheels, Noise Noise Noise, 1 Of The 2, Grimly Fiendish, Rabid (Over You), There'll Come A Day, Danger To Yourself, Antipope, Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde, Love Song, Democracy, Stranger On The Town, Neat Neat Neat, She, White Rabbit, New Rose, Therapy, Turkey Song, There Ain't No Sanity Clause. encore - Lovely Money, Nasty, Looking At You, Smash It Up.

Comments: UK 'Loco-A-Go-Go' tour. Support from The Dickies. As at Nottingham, there was another beer throwing incident at the start of the gig, but apparently Dave Vanian just pulled out a handkerchief, wiped himself down and carried on. Only a single verse of 'Turkey Song' was played.

Tuesday 4 December 2012 - Rock City, Nottingham

Set: Under The Wheels, Noise Noise Noise, 1 Of The 2, Grimly Fiendish, Rabid (Over You), There'll Come A Day, Danger To Yourself, Antipope, Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde, Love Song, Democracy, Stranger On The Town, Neat Neat Neat, She, White Rabbit, New Rose, Therapy, There Ain't No Sanity Clause. encore - Lovely Money, Nasty, Looking At You, Smash It Up.

Comments: UK 'Loco-A-Go-Go' tour. Support from The Dickies. At the start of the gig, just as Dave Vanian went to sing his first vocal for 'Under The Wheels', he was hit in the face by a beer thrown from within the audience. Though he continued through to the end of the song, when completed he took time to stop and berate the unknown crowd member, finishing with comments including "I'm trying to sing for you, and what do I get, a beer in the face... ...and merry christmas to you pal". Though the gig continued through to its natural conclusion, the incident seemed to create an uneasy (uncertain) atmosphere (for both the band and the audience) until later in the show. During 'There Ain't No Sanity Clause', 4(?) large ceiling buckets released a constant stream of fake snow across the audience. I was fortunate to attend the soundcheck for this show and long time Damned fan Johnno was also there... the first time I have ever heard 'Turkey Song' performed with the words " There's a Johnno in the house, get him out", lol. Johnno joined the band on stage for 'Smash It Up'.

Monday 3 December 2012 - Engine Shed, Lincoln

Set: Under The Wheels, Noise Noise Noise, 1 Of The 2, Grimly Fiendish, Rabid (Over You), There'll Come A Day, Danger To Yourself, There Ain't No Sanity Clause, Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde, Love Song, Democracy, Stranger On The Town, Neat Neat Neat, She, White Rabbit, New Rose, Therapy. encore - Lovely Money, Nasty, Looking At You, Smash It Up.

Comments: UK 'Loco-A-Go-Go' tour. Support from The Dickies.

Sunday 2 December 2012 - O2 Academy, Bristol

Set: Under The Wheels, Noise Noise Noise, There Ain't No Sanity Clause, Grimly Fiendish, Rabid (Over You), There'll Come A Day, 1 Of The 2, Danger To Yourself, Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde, Love Song, Democracy, Stranger On The Town, Neat Neat Neat, She, White Rabbit, New Rose, Therapy. encore - Lovely Money, Nasty, Looking At You, Turkey Song, Antipope, Smash It Up.

Comments: UK 'Loco-A-Go-Go' tour. Support from The Dickies. Both verses of 'Turkey Song' were played, but the final chorus was abridged.

Saturday 1 December 2012 - Corn Exchange, Bedford

Set: Under The Wheels, Noise Noise Noise, There Ain't No Sanity Clause, Grimly Fiendish, Rabid (Over You), There'll Come A Day, Danger To Yourself, 1 Of The 2, Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde, Love Song, Democracy, Stranger On The Town, Neat Neat Neat, She, White Rabbit, New Rose, Therapy. encore - Lovely Money, Nasty, Looking At You, Smash It Up.

Comments: UK 'Loco-A-Go-Go' tour. Support from The Dickies. Prior to 'Therapy' (following a comment from Captain Sensible which was related to the disappearance of Glen Miller the night after staying in the Bedford area), a short rendition of Miller's 'In The Mood' was played - Captain and Dave Vanian vocally mimicking the tune and Pinch joining in on drums.

Friday 30 November 2012 - University of East Anglia, Norwich

Set: Under The Wheels, Noise Noise Noise, There Ain't No Sanity Clause, Grimly Fiendish, Rabid (Over You), There'll Come A Day, 1 Of The 2, Danger To Yourself, Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde, Love Song, Democracy, Stranger On The Town, Neat Neat Neat, She, White Rabbit, New Rose, Therapy. encore - Lovely Money, Nasty, Looking At You, Smash It Up.

Comments: UK 'Loco-A-Go-Go' tour. Support from The Dickies.

Thursday 29 November 2012 - O2 Academy, Leeds

Some songs in the set were played live for either 1) the first known time ever, or 2) the first known time in many years - namely, 'Grimly Fiendish' (no evidence of having been played live since November 1987), 'Stranger On The Town' (no evidence of having been played live since February 1988), 'White Rabbit' (never known to have been played live previously) and 'Lovely Money' (no evidence of having been played since November 1986 and possibly only ever having previously been performed in a short format).

Saturday 29 September 2012 - The Venue, Great Portland Street, London

Comments: Advertising for the London Punk Festival, from Friday 28 to Sunday 30 September 2012, displayed 'Damned Damned Damned' as Saturday headliners. However, this was actually Brian James and Rat Scabies, NOT The Damned.

Saturday 25 August 2012 - Old Warden Park, Biggleswade (Rhythm Festival)

Comments: CANCELLED. The Rhythm Festival website stated "I am hugely saddened to have to announce that Rhythm Festivals 2012 cannot take place as planned. A whole series of glitches and problems made it impossible to carry on. The weather, the Olympics, the Jubilee, the economic downturn and a dozen other factors, including the domino effect of other events not happening, all played there part. The aim is to postpone the festival until 2013 and we are inviting back the acts who were booked for 2012 and hope that they can make it next year".

Sunday 19 August 2012 - Waldbuhne, Berlin, Germany

Setlist: Melody Lee, Neat Neat Neat, 1 Of The 2, Love Song, Disco Man, Antipope, Fan Club, Ignite, Smash It Up.

Comments: Support to Die Artze. Whilst the setlist is know to be correct, the actual set also included 'New Rose' somewhere during the set, which was omitted in error by the band, and added after comments from fans as the band took to the stage.

Saturday 21 July 2012 - La Louviere, Belgium (Power Festival)

Setlist: Wait For The Blackout, Lively Arts, Silly Kids Games, Stretcher Case, I Just Can't Be Happy Today, New Rose, Disco Man, Eloise, Love Song, Neat Neat Neat, History Of The World, Fan Club, Ignite. encore - Jet Boy Jet Girl, Antipope, Smash It Up.

Saturday 14 July 2012 - Hitchin Priory (Rhythms of the World Festival)

Set: Wait For The Blackout, Lively Arts, Silly Kids Games, I Just Can't Be Happy Today, New Rose, Limit Club, Shadow Of Love, Disco Man, Eloise, Love Song, Neat Neat Neat, Plan 9 Channel 7, History Of The World, Fan Club, Ignite. encore - Curtain Call, Antipope, Alone Again Or, Happy Talk, Smash It Up.

Comments: The Damned played the Nettlebed Stage.

Friday 13 July 2012 - Boughton House, Northamptonshire (Vintage Festival)

Comments: CANCELLED - "following lower than expected ticket sales". Parts of the intended festival 'guested' instead at the Wilderness Festival in Oxfordshire from 10-12 August.

Saturday 16 June 2012 - South Parade Pier, Southsea (Punk By the Sea Festival)

Comments: CANCELLED. This intended 4-day (Thursday to Sunday) festival ran into serious financial difficulties. Attendees on the first night were told that the rest of the weekend was cancelled, and bands and members of the public were frantically phoning around and posting on Facebook to find more details. The Friday went ahead afterall, with a changed line-up as bands pulled-out or altered plans, but there was no money for use of the South Parade Pier, and its associated costs, for the Saturday and Sunday. The Damned withdrew from the event late on the Friday night. Eventually, an alternative event was arranged (by a local publican?) for the Saturday and Sunday at a local pub venue, where some bands were playing for no final payment - on the Saturday, with its larger room unavailable until the Sunday, Sham 69 and Vice Squad (amongst others) played to a bar that was only able to hold around 90 punters!

Friday 15 June 2012 - Princess Pavilion, Falmouth

Set: Wait For The Blackout, Lively Arts, Silly Kids Games, I Just Can't Be Happy Today, New Rose, Limit Club, Shadow Of Love, Stretcher Case, Under The Floor Again, Love Song, Neat Neat Neat, Plan 9 Channel 7, History Of The World, Fan Club, Ignite. encore - Curtain Call, Eloise, Antipope, Smash It Up.

Comments: Support from The Dancing Dead. 'Ignite' included a small excerpt of 'Wot', and a short piece of 'Happy Talk' was performed by Captain Sensible following 'Smash It Up'. Also on the setlist, but not played, were 'Alone Again Or' and 'Generals'.

Sunday 10 June 2012 - O2 ABC, Glasgow

Set: Wait For The Blackout, Lively Arts, Silly Kids Games, I Just Can't Be Happy Today, New Rose, Limit Club, Shadow Of Love, Stretcher Case, Under The Floor Again, Love Song, Neat Neat Neat, Plan 9 Channel 7, History Of The World, Eloise, Fan Club, Ignite. encore - Curtain Call, Antipope, Alone Again Or, Happy Talk, Smash It Up.

Comments: Support from Gin Goblins.

Saturday 9 June 2012 - Malt Room, Brewery Arts Centre, Kendal

Set included: Smash It Up.

Comments: A YouTube comment stated "Cracking night, no thanks to the guy who threw beer all over the mixing desk, stopping the sets for 15 minutes and almost ending the gig".

Friday 8 June 2012 - Cheltenham Racecourse (Wychwood Festival)

Set: Stretcher Case, Love Song, I Just Can't Be Happy Today, New Rose, Limit Club, Neat Neat Neat, History Of The World, Under The Floor Again, Eloise, Fan Club, Ignite, Alone Again Or, Smash It Up (part 2 only).

Comments: Various bands played the main stage during the Friday and The Damned were the final act before the headliners, Bellowhead.

Sunday 3 June 2012 - Bath Racecourse (Jubilee Festival)

Comments: CANCELLED. Reasons for the cancellation of the gig were disputed between the event organisers and the licence holder (Bath racecourse), but it seems likely that there were safety concerns.

Saturday 2 June 2012 - WAMA, High Wycombe

Comments: CANCELLED. Notification that the venue ceased trading was announced during the week of the intended gig.

Sunday 27 May 2012 - Wulfrun Hall, Wolverhampton

Comments: Support from Folk Grinder. A small piece of 'Wot' preceded 'Ignite'. Former band member Paul Gray took over bass duties from Stu West for 'Generals' and Wakey of the English Dogs did the majority of lead vocals on 'Smash It Up' (and at one point dangerously launched a mic stand into the audience).
