Comments: Supported by Demented Are Go, Near Death Experience & Mouthwash? Banter during the show included whimsical snippets of 'Snooker Song' and Wake Me Up Before You Go Go.

Saturday 12 October - Pavilion, Bath (Punk Anniversary Festival)

Comments: Two day festival - Saturday headliners. Support advertised for the Saturday as - The Drones, Battalion of Saints, UK Subs, 999, The Lurkers, Major Accident, Special Duties, B-Bang Cider, Sic Boy Federation, The Lennons. A snippet of 'Snooker Song' was played prior to 'Plan 9 Channel 7'.

Comments: With the Buzzcocks. Billed as Dave Vanian & Captain Sensible Ex-Damned. 'Ever Fallen in Love' was performed with the Buzzcocks.

Comments: With the Buzzcocks. Billed as Dave Vanian & Captain Sensible Ex-Damned. This show almost certainly went ahead, as Captain Sensible and Pete Shelley discussed  the gig in a Japanese radio interview the previous day.

Comments: Holidays In The Sun festival. The Damned played the Empire Ballroom. First billed as The Damned... later as Dave Vanian & Captain Sensible Ex-Damned. The 2nd playing of 'Love Song' was an extended version. Also on the bill that day - Suburban Studs, Funeral Dress, The Vibrators, The Lurkers, External Menace, The Radio Stars, The Casualties, 999, Splodgenessabounds, UK Subs, Special Duties, Chron Gen, The Anti-Nowhere League. Auntie Pus seems to have played immediately before The Damned and then introduced the band.

Comments: Support from The Lemmings and Electrocuting Elvis. 'Smash It Up' may have been played prior to 'New Rose' rather than after it.

Comments: First billed as The Damned... later as Dave Vanian & Captain Sensible Ex-Damned. Gig curtailed after Paul Gray was hit in the face by a glass. Also on the bill - Sham 69, Anti Nowhere League, Peter & The Test Tube Babies, Alternative TV, 999, Chelsea, Public Toys and Sic Boy Federation.

Comments: Advertised as '(Former Members of) The Damned - Dave Vanian, Captain Sensible and Paul Gray. Plus support - The Blocked'. On the night Dave Vanian didn't appear, so Captain sang vocals.

Comments: Originally billed as the As The Damned - due to legal action by Rat Scabies, billed as Dave Vanian, Captain Sensible, Paul Gray ex-members of The Damned. Advertising when originally scheduled for The Institute Birmingham indicated the line-up to be - The Damned, Sham 69, Anti Nowhere League, The Meteors, GBH, Peter and The Test Tube Babies, John Copper Clarke, Demented Are Go, Chaou UK, The English Dogs, The Lost Souls, Varukers, Deluxor, + 2 more bands to be confirmed. Snippets of 'Happy Talk' and 'Snooker Song' preceded 'Melody Lee'.
