Comments: Support from Third Light. First live performances of 'Eloise', 'Rabid (Over You)' and 'Five Foot One'. Though it seems very odd for the reprise of 'Curtain Call' without it being an opener, this set is taken from a bootleg recording and 'Sanity Clause' does indeed follow the intro music (and does not seem to have been tampered with).
Thursday 12 December 1985 - Civic Auditorium, Santa Monica, California

Comments: Support advertised as 45 Grave. The 'Fiendish Shadows' CD is supposedly this show (as depicted on the sleeve artwork) but is in fact incorrect - 'Fiendish Shadows' is actually an incomplete recording of the gig at the Coronet Theatre, Woolwich on 11 July 1985.

Comments: Gig known to have taken place.
Sunday 29 September 1985 - Vera, Rotterdam, NetherlandsComments: This location was shown on tour schedules for the time. However, it is wrong as there was never a Vera venue in Rotterdam - see The Arena, Rotterdam - 29 September.
Saturday 28 September 1985 - Vera, Groningen, Netherlands
Set: unknown.
Comments: Gig confirmed as taking place. A contributor to this site wrote - 'I only ever saw the Damned live once, in 1985, during their european tour when they played the Vera in Groningen. Though memories of this night are a little bit hazy now, I distinctly remember the band was in top form and some guys at the front consistantly shouted for "Bad time for Bonzo" and at some point threw a can of Bonzo dog food on stage to lend some weight to their argument! Alas the band were unable to cooperate'.

Saturday 14 September 1985 - McMordie Hall (Student Union), BelfastComments: Information is 'out there' for this show, however, it seems to have been an early advertised date which was re-arranged. This theory is further backed-up by a contributor to this site who stated "Still have my original ticket and the date printed is 14 September, which I have crossed out and replaced with 12 September, as the gig was re-scheduled.

Monday 8 July 1985 - Pavilion Hemel HempsteadComments: A Fuzztones gig advert in the New Musical Express (NME) music paper of 25 May 1985 showed numerous dates under a title 'On Tour With The Damned'. Included in these dates was the Pavilion in Hemel Hempstead on 8 July. As this date is never known to have appeared in any Damned literature from the time, it is assumed to either have been an error, or a headline performance by The Fuzztones, outside of The Damned tour, that was mistakenly listed with The Damned tour dates.
Sunday 7 July 1985 - Derngate Theatre, Northampton
Set: unknown.
Comments: Support from the Fuzztones. Trouble after the gig ended was reported the following Monday in the Northampton Chronicle & Echo - 'Angry fans stormed the stage claiming the management of the Northgate Arena had deliberately cut the concert short'. 'Steel fire curtains were damaged and nearly 30 chairs ripped up and destroyed'. 'Police, some with dogs, moved in quickly to stop the trouble that was started by a group of about 40 punks'. '... it was scheduled to finish at 10 O'clock, it ended at 10:02 - on time, that was the time given by the group'. Comments: Support from the Fuzztones. Due to a glass throwing incident, 'Lust For Life' was curtailed and there was a period of inactivity. The band resumed with 'Love Song', and played straight through until the end of the set (rather than the standard 2-encore [3-numbers / 2-numbers] process at the time).

Comments: Advertising from the time indicates the Fuzztones as intended support - however, a contributor to this site stated "I remember this gig very well. I was with a girlfriend who wasn't into punk and she was getting shoved all over by two punkettes against the balcony. She was going to chin them! She hated the gig, so it stuck in my mind. I loved it however. Dave Vanian played this weird shaped guitar for a couple of numbers. The support band was actually Doctor & the Medics. They were great and as a consequence I went to see them the following year at Newcastle Riverside".

'There'll Come A Day' was also aired on The Bruno Brookes Show, but was actually recorded live on 14 April 1985 as part of the session for The Janice Long Radio Show. 'There'll Come A Day' would later be made commercially available to purchase.
