Comments: The set given above is in the correct order as played on the night. However, this seems to be just the main set. The overall running time for the show, AND the fact that the bootleg cassette that these details were taken from ends with the audience beginning to cheer just as the recording cuts out, suggests that the band may have just been returning to the stage to play an encore (which was presumably unrecorded).

xx April / May 1986 - Gossips, Soho, London
Set included: Oh Yeah.
Comments: Alice In Wonderland show [Established during 1983, Alice’s was held every Monday night in Gossips from 22:00 - 03.30, featured live bands and a psychedelic disco]. Because the performance was to be recorded for partial release and the band was already signed to a particular record label, Naz Nomad & The Nightmares played under a further alias, as The Spooks. 'Oh Yeah' features on 'A Pretty Smart Way To Catch A Lobster: Live At Alice In Wonderland LP' and was recorded at this is gig (precise date of which remains unknown at the moment, but bands appearing on this LP were supposedly recorded live at Gossips in the Spring of 1986... and because The Damned were touring the US, New Zealand, Australia and Japan during March and April 1986... this suggests a late April or early May date for the show).
Saturday 22 December 1984 - former Decca Records warehouse, South LondonComments: The second Magical Mystery Trip organised by by The Alice in Wonderland night club - billed as 'Trip To Fairyland'. [The magical mystery trips involved buying advance tickets to an unknown and totally secret event. On receipt of the tickets, the trippers were given only a time and meeting place. On arriving at the rendezvous, the trippers awaited further instructions delivered by a member of the Alice In Wonderland entourage]. This particular event is sometimes reported as including a performance by Naz Nomad, but this performance seems to have actually been an appearance by members of Dr & The Medics, Boys Wonder and Roman Jugg (playing as The Cockroaches)... though some other reports suggest that Roman Jugg was not involved.
Saturday 7 July 1984 - Scala Cinema, Kings Cross, London
Comments: Film festival that was supposedly to include a live performance by Dr & The Medics and Naz Nomad. However, a contributor to this site wrote "It was an all-nighter film show, screening 60's cult movies such as 'Barbarella', 'The Trip' & The Monkees' 'Head'. The only band to play that night were Dr & The Medics; the magazine Sounds had wrongly stated that Naz Nomad would be playing. I was there that night and at the ticket office was a roughly daubed sign that said 'Sounds got it wrong - The Damned are not playing tonight'." Dave Vanian did however perform with Dr & The Medics on stage dressed in his Naz Nomad garb. Additionally, after the Dr & The Medics set, Captain Sensible (though not part of the Naz Nomad Damned spin-off... another regular at the Alice in Wonderland club) apparently stumbled onto the stage, picked up a guitar and announced he would like to perform 'Happy Talk'. He didn't get a chance as the audience boo-ed him off, augmenting their vocal disatisfaction with various drinks containers and half eaten kebabs lobbed in his direction.
Monday 30 January 1984 - Gossips, Soho, London
Set: Nobody But Me, Can't Stand This Love Goodbye, Citadel, I Had Too Much To Dream (Last Night), Gene Genie, Last Train To Clarkesville, Wild Thing, Smash It Up, Neat Neat Neat.
Comments: Alice in Wonderland club night [Established during 1983, Alice’s was held every Monday night in Gossips from 22:00 - 03.30, featured live bands and a psychedelic disco]. The contributor to this site that gave the set for the night stated; 'Tiny venue, tiny stage, absolute chaos'.
Monday 9 January 1984 - Gossips, Soho, LondonComments: Intended show at the Alice in Wonderland club night [Established during 1983, Alice’s was held every Monday night in Gossips from 22:00 - 03.30, featured live bands and a psychedelic disco]. However, this show was cancelled due to Rat Scabies having other commitments on this date.
Friday 20 May 1983 - The Greyhound, Fulham
Set: Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band, I Can't Stand This Love Goodbye, I'm A Believer, Kicks, Nobody But Me, Last Train To Clarksville, I Had Too Much To Dream (Last Night), Evil Hearted You, She Lied, Citadel, Wipeout, Wild Thing, jam (song excerpts including Hey Bo Didley). encore - Born To Kill, Smash It Up (part 2). encore - Love Song.
Comments: Billed as 'The Nightmares - featuring Dave Vanian, Rat Scabies, Roman Jugg and Alfie Noakes on bass'. Support from The Volcanoes. A break in the recording that this set is taken from, suggests that there may have been a further encore break between 'Wipeout' and 'Wild Thing'... but this may just have been the time when Rat Scabies switched to guitar to play 'Wild Thing'.
Saturday 30 April 1983 - The Greyhound, Fulham
